Excellent price, weight and performance

I purchased the 165 mm crankset with a 50/34 chainring. Total weight was ~590 g which is excellent and unbeatable at this price point. Installation was easy (though I did have to swap from a 24 mm to 29 mm bottom bracket). Shifting is smooth on the Magene chainrings with a Shimano groupset. The power meter seems accurate. After my first ride I compared the power readings to my Kickr Core trainer and the P515 reading was ~4-5% higher. This makes sense given the difference in placement. It also had no issues with accuracy during power peaks. You can also easily create an offset in the Magene app to make the readings consistent between your trainer and the P515. I was a bit concerned about heel rub on these cranks but there is actually a slight offset built into them and I don't have any problems at all - at least with where I have my cleats set.

200 miles in on the new set, basic install went as easy as any DUB setup, power meter setup was a little more hassle but eventually linked and started working with my Garmin 1040. The overall fit and finish are very good, very good value considering the current price. It would be nice to see a little "Q" factor designed into the crank arms to avoid heal rub as these are virtually straight. Magene, please add a 155 mm, and offer the power meter and or crank set as separate items
