Terms & Conditions
1. Organizer
Magene Season Ride (the “Challenge”) is organized by Magene (“Magene,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the Challenge and eligibility for its rewards. By registering for or participating in the Challenge, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility
Participants must complete the official registration process during the designated registration period to participate in the Challenge.
Participants are required to provide accurate and complete registration information, including their email address and Instagram username. Magene reserves the right to verify participant information and disqualify entries that do not meet the eligibility requirements.
Successful registration automatically qualifies participants for the Participation Reward prize draw.
3. Challenge Period and Requirements
The Magene Season Ride Challenge will run from November 2 to November 15, 2026, inclusive.
To complete the 800 KM Challenge, participants must accumulate at least 800 km of valid cycling distance during the official Challenge period.
- Both indoor and outdoor cycling activities are eligible.
- Participants may use their preferred cycling platforms or devices to record their activities.
- Only cycling activities completed between November 2 and November 15, 2026, inclusive, will count toward the Challenge.
- Participants who complete 800 km may continue accumulating distance until November 15, 2026, to compete for the Distance Awards.
- Participants must submit their final cycling records and cumulative distance through the designated submission method no later than November 16, 2026.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that their activity records are accurate, complete, and submitted before the deadline. Activities completed after November 15, 2026, will not count toward the Challenge.
4. Rewards and Prizes
The Challenge offers four reward categories.
4.1 Participation Reward
All participants who successfully register for the Challenge will be entered into the Participation Reward prize draw.
A total of 15 winners will be randomly selected to receive a Magene limited-edition gift pack.
4.2 Finisher Reward
Participants who accumulate at least 800 km of valid cycling distance within the three-week Challenge period, submit their cycling records before the deadline, and pass the verification process will be entered into the Finisher Reward prize draw.
A total of 5 winners will be randomly selected to receive a TEO P515 Power Meter Set.
4.3 Mileage Awards
Participants who complete the initial 800 km requirement may continue accumulating cycling distance until the end of the Challenge period.
Final rankings will be determined based on each participant’s verified cumulative cycling distance completed during the Challenge period, provided that the required activity records are submitted and approved.
The three participants with the highest verified distances will receive the following prizes:
- 1st Place: T600 Eco Smart Trainer × 1
- 2nd Place: P715 Pedal-Based Power Meter × 1
- 3rd Place: PES P515 Power Meter Set × 1
Only valid and verified cycling activities completed within the official Challenge period will count toward the final rankings.
4.4 Sharing Reward
During the Challenge period, participants may publish content related to their Magene Season Ride experience on social media to enter the Sharing Reward prize draw.
To qualify, participants must:
- Publish content related to the Magene Season Ride Challenge.
- Include the hashtag #MageneSeasonRide.
- Mention @MageneOfficial in the published content.
A total of 3 winners will be randomly selected from eligible entries. Each winner will receive a C706 bike computer and a Magene limited-edition gift pack.
Entries that do not meet the stated requirements may be deemed ineligible.
5. Multiple Prize Eligibility
Participants may win prizes from multiple reward categories. However, each participant may win no more than once within each individual prize category.
Winning a prize in one category does not disqualify a participant from winning a prize in another category, provided that all applicable eligibility requirements are met.
- Submission and Verification
Participants must submit their final cycling activity records and any other required information through the official submission method before the deadline announced by Magene.
Magene reserves the right to review and verify submitted activity records, cumulative distances, social media entries, and participant eligibility.
The following may result in disqualification or exclusion from a prize draw or ranking:
- False, incomplete, misleading, or manipulated activity records.
- Duplicate submissions intended to gain an unfair advantage.
- Activities completed outside the official Challenge period.
- Failure to provide sufficient evidence for verification.
- Failure to meet the requirements of the relevant reward category.
- Any attempt to manipulate rankings or prize draws.
Magene may request additional information or supporting evidence where necessary to verify an entry.
- Winner Selection and Notification
Participation, Finisher, and Sharing Reward winners will be selected randomly from eligible entries in their respective prize pools.
Distance Award winners will be determined according to the final verified rankings.
Magene will announce or contact winners through its official communication channels or the contact information provided during registration. Winners may be required to respond within the deadline specified in the notification.
If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the specified period, or is found to be ineligible, Magene reserves the right to withdraw the award and select an alternative winner where applicable.
- Prizes and Delivery
All prizes are subject to eligibility verification and confirmation by Magene.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Magene reserves the right to replace a prize with an item of equal or greater value where reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable law.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or other charges will be handled in accordance with applicable laws and the arrangements communicated by Magene.
Further instructions regarding prize claims and delivery will be provided to confirmed winners.
- Participant Content
Participants retain ownership of the content they create and publish.
By publishing Challenge-related content and using the official Challenge hashtag or account mention, participants acknowledge that Magene may discover and engage with their publicly available content.
Any reposting or use of participant content for marketing or promotional purposes will be subject to applicable law, relevant platform terms, and any additional consent required.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that their submissions do not infringe the rights of any third party.
- Safety and Responsibility
Cycling involves inherent risks. Participants are responsible for their own safety, assessing their physical condition, choosing suitable routes and conditions, and complying with applicable traffic laws and safety requirements.
Magene is not responsible for injuries, accidents, losses, or damages arising from participation in cycling activities, except to the extent that liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
- Privacy
This campaign processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.
Data collected for this Challenge: Email address and Instagram username/handle.
Purpose: To administer the Challenge, verify eligibility and entries, contact winners, and verify social media sharing entries.
Recipients: We may process this data together with Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.) as necessary to verify your public post. Your Instagram data is also subject to Instagram's own privacy policy.

- Changes, Suspension, or Cancellation
Magene reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Challenge where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, suspected fraud, technical issues, or other circumstances affecting the fair or proper administration of the Challenge.
Any material changes will be communicated through official Magene channels where reasonably practicable.
- Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.
(a) For participants who are consumers resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction whose mandatory laws grant consumers the right to bring proceedings before their local courts:
Nothing in these Terms shall affect your statutory right as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, or to rely on any mandatory provision of the law of your country of residence.
(b) For all other participants:
Any dispute, controversy, difference or claim arising out of or relating to this campaign, including the existence, validity, interpretation, performance, breach or termination thereof, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (“HKIAC”) under the HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules in force when the Notice of Arbitration is submitted. The seat of arbitration shall be Hong Kong. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English. The law of this arbitration clause shall be the law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
(c) U.S. Residents: Separate Official Rules apply to participants resident in the United States. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the U.S. Official Rules, the U.S. Official Rules shall control.
