-The PES P515 features enhanced power accuracy, improved compatibility, and reduced weight. Its power accuracy has been upgraded from ±1.5% to ±1.0%. Compatibility issues with BB386 and T47 bottom brackets have been resolved (For some special bottom brackets that are still incompatible, please refer to the description on the product page for details). Additionally, the PES P515 Power Meter is approximately 14 grams lighter than the PES P505 Power Meter , based on the 170mm crank arm length.
2、How does the PES P515 Power Meter reduce the issue of non-drive side crank loosening?
-Since June of last year, a new opposing dual-bolt locking system has been adopted—first on thePES P505 Power Meter and now on the PES P515 Power Meter. This design, when combined with regular torque checks, significantly reduces the risk of crank loosening. Due to the specialized nature of this locking mechanism, it’s important to follow the installation manual carefully.
