The P515 spider-based power meter employs high-precision strain gauges and acceleration sensors. Combined with built-in intelligent temperature compensation algorithms, it can provide precise and reliable power data anytime and anywhere, even when the environment changes constantly. Extensively tested in harsh environments with highly demanded standards, and with each strain gauge undergoing stress release, the product guarantees a ±1% power accuracy, never letting your effort in vain.

625g Light-weight and High-stiffness Design, Unleash Your Power Hard

The PES crank adopts a triple hollow channel design. The extensive hollow spaces reduce weight greatly. The crank is integrally molded by applying precise CNC with deep-hole drilling techniques. While optimizing the sealing technique, the force structure is completely enhanced with a symmetric design. The weight is reduced greatly yet without affecting performance. After 100,000 times of harsh pedaling, it still performs excellently.

The P515 spider-based power meter is made of 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum. The selection of premium materials balances the weight while achieving great stiffness, making the power meter weighs 99g only.

1、What improvements does the new PES P515 power meter offer compared to the PES P505 Power Meter?

-The PES P515 features enhanced power accuracy, improved compatibility, and reduced weight. Its power accuracy has been upgraded from ±1.5% to ±1.0%. Compatibility issues with BB386 and T47 bottom brackets have been resolved (For some special bottom brackets that are still incompatible, please refer to the description on the product page for details). Additionally, the PES P515 Power Meter is approximately 14 grams lighter than the PES P505 Power Meter , based on the 170mm crank arm length.

2、How does the PES P515 Power Meter reduce the issue of non-drive side crank loosening?

-Since June of last year, a new opposing dual-bolt locking system has been adopted—first on thePES P505 Power Meter and now on the PES P515 Power Meter. This design, when combined with regular torque checks, significantly reduces the risk of crank loosening. Due to the specialized nature of this locking mechanism, it’s important to follow the installation manual carefully.

3、Is the PES P515 power meter easy to install? What should I be aware of?

-Yes, installation is straightforward when the instructions are followed properly. We recommend using the operating manual included in the package. Accurate, Stable, and the Best Value

Power readings match both my Quarqs perfectly, and the zero offset remains stable with no drift. Just make sure to follow the install instructions carefully—although it looks like a standard Shimano crank, there are three critical steps to get the crankset properly tightened.

I've only been using it for a month, but so far it works as advertised, provided you calibrate it first, and pairs well with the Ultegra R8000 chainring.
